Guidelines for Conference Participants Who are Non-Korean

 

K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization) will be temporarily exempted to the 22 countries/regions listed in the link below starting from April 1, 2023 to December 31, 2024, as part of a plan to support the revitalization of the tourism industry. Visa: Depending on your nationality and residence status, you may or may not need visa to enter Korea. Please check the information on visa requirement from the link below. Booking flights: When booking flights to Jeju International Airport, it is important to consider approximately 3 hours of layover time so that you can go through customs, immigration, and baggage claim at Incheon Airport (ICN), move to Gimpo airport (GMP) and check in again for another flight (from Gimpo to Jeju).

Transportation from ICN to GMP: Please note that you will have to claim your baggage at ICN and carry it to GMP by yourself, then go through the entire regular boarding procedure including check-in and security check at GMP. Below is the estimated time for each process:
Customs, Immigration & Baggage Claim at ICN: about 40-60 minutes on average
Public transportation from ICN to GMP: 35-45 minutes on average (AREX Airport Train: ~43 minutes, Taxi: ~35 minutes, Airport Limousine: ~43 minutes)
Taxi (55,000 – 70,000 Won), AREX Airport Train (3,000 – 4,300 Won), and Airport Limousine (10,000 – 12,000 Won)

From Jeju International Airport to Venue

  • The airport limousines (No. 600) (Jeju International Airport ↔ Jeju International Convention Center)

    • Place & Schedule

      • Limousine bus stop at the left side of the front gate (Samyoung Traffic No. 600)

      • First departure at 6am, Last departure at 10:40pm , Every 15 minutes

    • Fare

      • 4, 500  KRW (one way), 40~50 minutes

    • Service route

      • Airport → T.H.E Hotel and Vegas Casino Jeju → Entrance to the Yeomiji Botanical Garden → Hyatt Hotel → Shilla Hotel → Lotte Hotel → Hankook Condominium → Jeju International Convention Center → New Gyeongnam Hotel → Seogwipo KAL Hotel

  • Taxi (Jungmun - Jeju International Airport)

    • Select the distance (long-distance or short-distance) at the taxi stop.

    • When you go to the Center, it is all right to take a taxi at the long-distance stop.

    • Since the taxi fare is fixed, please confirm the distance before taking a taxi

    • Fare

      • About 30,000 KRW, Distance: 40km (40-45 minutes)

  • Rental car

    • Advanced reservation is recommended if you plan to rent a car.

    • Upon arrival, you can sign up for rental cars at the rent-a-car desk nearby airport exit.

From Jeju International Airport to Venue

  • The airport limousines (No. 600) from ICC Jeju

    • First departure at 6:37 am, Last departure at 10:15 pm

Hotel Reservation Deadline

  • April 10th, 2024 is the cut-off date to receive a special rate for the 2024 ICCT participants.

  • The special rate will be applied to your reservation for May 9 through May 12, 2024.

  • Please note that the special rate may end earlier than April 10th, 2024 if the reservation reaches the maximum number of room blocks for the 2024 ICCT that the hotel can offer.
